Recent cross-state estimates of recidivism suggest that 58% of incarcerated women are rearrested, 38% are reconvicted, and 30% are returned to prison in the three years following release from prison. Our hybrid program "To Be Me" equips women returning citizens with a safe environment to connect with themselves, grow their advocacy skills, and establish supporting networks within their community. In partnership with the National Reentry Network for Returning Citizens, our program infuses a holistic approach to wellness to build self-confidence, awareness, resilience, opportunity, and advocacy skills for our participants over the course of 8 weeks.
